The purpose of the Logistics Skills + Careers Hub

The Hub is to expose young people and individuals, to the sector of logistics, who may not have previously considered the field. It would also enlighten those who have expressed an interest but do not know what the possibilities are. The key objective of the Logistics Skills & Careers Hub is to support the sector in tackling the skills gap in the locality of West London through the delivery of a curriculum and careers service which aligns with employer demands.

The Hub is a space for collaboration and partnership working with employers to deliver careers events and recruitment drives, to the local community. Thereby raising the profile of the sector and increasing exposure and accessibility to a wider audience.

The Logistics Skills & Careers Hub will be a focal point in West London for the sector. It will serve the community who are seeking the knowledge to further their aspirations, and as a result increase employability outcomes, supporting both local and regional economic development.

Mission

To tackle the skills and recruitment challenges within the logistics sector through sustainable partnership working, whilst adopting a multilateral approach to engaging the community of West London, with logistics career information and career opportunities.
